Our annual Art at the Hospice event brings together an online auction, a hospice art sale and a private view for supporters, visitors and art lovers to enjoy.
Online Auction
This year’s auction focuses on postcard-sized art, complemented by a small number of larger works by popular and established artists. All pieces will be available to view at the hospice and through our online auction, which opens on 16th September and runs until 15th October.
Every postcard is an original piece and has been donated by the artist. We are grateful to every artist who has generously shared their creativity to support St Wilfrid’s.
Art Sale
Alongside the auction, we will also run a month-long art sale. Donated pieces of original and limited edition artwork will be displayed on the hospice walls, and everyone is welcome to come along, browse the collection and see what catches their eye. Each piece will have a set price, so if you fall in love with one, you can simply take it to the till and take it home to enjoy.
Thanks to everyone who brought in their pieces of art to support Art at the Hospice; every sale will benefit the patients and services of St Wilfrid’s.
Private View
A private view of the art will complete this year’s event and will take place at the hospice on Wednesday 30th September. If you would like to come along to this then please email art@stwhospice.org.
